Discover the tools you need to effectively manage the financial well-being of your company. Everyone has an indispensable toolbox or two—most of us have several. Some may be full of wrenches and screwdrivers, while other may some contain cordless power tools. However, there is another toolbox we need just as much, though most of us seldom think about it—our company financial system toolbox. In particular, we’re going to talk about profit and loss (P&L) reports and statements. Why are these so important? We need a means to measure the effort we put into our business against the rewards that we get out of it. One way to do this is to record and compare the money value of the effort and rewards. This workshop will review the P&L report and its relationship with other financial reports, and demonstrate some of the important information found there.
