209 (Morial Convention Center)
Overcome your trepidations about getting involved in public awareness, as well as discovering the many benefits you, your business, and the industry can gain, by your helping to educate the public about groundwater during this multidivisional panel discussion. When asked in a recent membership survey, “If you had to select the single greatest obstacle to your personal efforts to increase the general public’s awareness of groundwater and groundwater-related technology, which would you select?” the most frequently cited barriers were lack of time, no perceived business value, and don’t know how. Hear how to get past these concerns—after all, public education about groundwater is critical and who is better than you, a groundwater professional, to provide accurate information?
