General and Construction Estimating

Accurate estimating is important to any business, but critical to small- and medium-sized firms. This workshop will address the types of estimates and their uses and suggested practices for general estimating. How much time one should allow to develop an estimate, the type of estimate best used for the type of contract, various types of estimates and their uses, and developing a bid strategy are some of the topics that will be covered. (This workshop is the first hour of the “Critical Tools for Effective Business Management: Bidding and Estimating” session.)
