All large capacity water supply wells require development when they are initially constructed and they require rehabilitation during their expected productive years. This presentation will discuss different tools and techniques used for well development and rehabilitation and their appropriate applications for varying well designs. The discussion will also discuss the need for an appropriate plan and the generally accepted contents of a well-planned rehabilitation project.

Kriss Schneider obtained a B.S. in Business Management and Leadership from George Fox University. He applies those skills as President of Schneider Water Services, a leading well drilling, pump, and water system contractor in the Northwest. As Sales and Service Division Manager he is responsible for all service division management including: communication with clients and their consultants; coordination and scheduling of multiple crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; purchasing, bidding, billing, and other related contract administration; interface and cooperation with government agencies as well as other contractors and subcontractors. Schneider is also responsible for all division resources including personnel, equipment, and finances.
