Getting your work published in the peer-reviewed literature is often challenging and frustrating.  The Editor-in-Chief of NGWA’s journal Groundwater shares his experiences with both failed and successful submissions with prospective authors. This workshop will identify those attributes that make for a meritorious contribution to groundwater science and engineering, and discuss how to avoid common faults that could lead to paper rejection.

Fiona Sarne from Wiley will provide indispensable advice for how to maximize the impact of your publications, showing you how to optimize your paper for search engines in order to make your research become more discoverable and attract more readers. In addition, you will also receive best practice tips on effortless ways to  promote your paper once it’s published.
