The Vision Thing: Leading Upward

Presented on Tuesday, September 22, 2015

Discover the importance of organizational vision development and communication — and how it can enable you to be
a better leader — during this half-hour online offering presented by NGWA CEO Kevin McCray, CAE, using the Association as a real-world example.

Research finds that only about five percent of impacted individuals ever come to understand an organization’s vision.
This underscores the need for leaders to be able to explain and demonstrate the vision on a recurring basis, and in multiple ways, as well as also accept that not all may grasp the meaning of the vision.
