Water Supply Well Pump Installations — Making Them Better

An interactive session that will discuss often overlooked details that make for a longer lasting and more useable pump installation. Items include but are not limited to: pump installation depth, column sizing, pitless unit/adaptors, venting, probe tubes, wire protection, splicing, flowing artesian, freeze protection, and safe installing practices that minimize risk to the user and damage to equipment. Audience participation in identifying unique or often overlooked or misunderstood pump installation items will be encouraged and expected.

Kriss Schneider obtained a B.S. in Business Management and Leadership from George Fox University. He applies those skills as President of Schneider Water Services, a leading well drilling, pump, and water system contractor in the Northwest. As Sales and Service Division Manager he is responsible for all service division management including: communication with clients and their consultants; coordination and scheduling of multiple crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; purchasing, bidding, billing, and other related contract administration; interface and cooperation with government agencies as well as other contractors and subcontractors. Schneider is also responsible for all division resources including personnel, equipment, and finances.
