This workshop will focus on well rehabilitation and maintenance; how to properly diagnose the problem and select the right chemical and mechanical methods. It will cover the importance of preventive maintenance and why the industry should be promoting it. And finally, discuss some general misinformation about chlorinating water wells.

Kevin McGinnis is President of Cotey Chemical Corp. Founded in Lubbock, Texas, in 1949, Cotey Chemical creates products to rehabilitate, develop, and maintain all types of water wells. McGinnis graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 with a BBA degree. He has worked in the water well industry for more than 25 years and has presented workshops across the U.S. both for individual state organizations and for the American Groundwater Trust. In addition to his experiences in the U.S., he has supervised water well rehabilitation projects in several countries of the Middle East, the Far East, and Latin America.
