Electronic Logging Devices: Complying with the New Federal Law

Federal law now requires that all commercial motor vehicles manufactured after model year 2000 be outfitted with electronic logging devices by December 17, 2017. Key concerns are not only about the type of devices and cost this law brings to small and medium size business owners, but what does one do about hybrid fleets?  What devices recognized by FMCSA are most compatible with existing equipment and where do I start in efforts to comply?  This workshop will review the current Hours of Service requirements and the rules governing what ELD’s must capture and what preferred data captures are expressed by individual states.
