This session will introduce you to the Osha 1926.650 “Subpart P” Safety in Excavation standard. Topics will include, why excavation work is statistically the most dangerous work in the United States, causes of injury and fatality, trench worker protective measures, excavating around underground utilities, soil classification, and common OSHA citations.
