Recently, IDP has significantly enhanced dispersability of their line of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide/polyacrylate (PHPA) polymers. These borehole stabilizing PHPA co-polymers have been widely used in industrial drilling applications and the solid form has presented challenges in mixing, especially for high molecular weight versions with minimal agitation. The highly dispersible products will continue to provide the excellent borehole stability expected with PHPA polymers, even with low shear mixing.
