Basic Pump Sizing and Understanding the Pump Curve

This course will review the basic pump curve. How to calculate TDH and GPM required in the water system, and how use that information to read the pump curve. The course will also review the pump chart and how it is read and compares to the pump curve. With a good understanding of TDH and GPM calculations sizing programs can be used to select pumps but more importantly how to create not just pump curves but multi speed pump curves a great way to show how a VFD could impact the system.
