N115/116 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
Within the assessment reports of groundwater and wells a variety of scientific terms appear in the explanation of the conditions. Although many of these terms are common to the scientific authors they may not be fully understood by the non-scientist.

This presentation will cover a multitude of scientific terms utilized in groundwater evaluations, recommendations and applications that can be confusing or difficult to understand. The effort will be made to present these terms in a “not-so-scientific format”.

Real world examples will be utilized to allow the attendee’s a better grasp of the definition of the term, the application and/or reaction, and the resulting benefits or consequences.
