Since 1921, Massenza is one of the leading manufacturer of drilling rigs in Europe and all around the world. Our equipment can be used for several applications, such as water and geothermal wells, geotechnical applications, mineral exploration, seismic, micro piles and anchors, covering a wide range of capacity and performances. Every rig is highly tailor made, designed specifically for its end user, in order to provide always the maximum productivity and respond at the best to our clients’ needs. We are proud to exhibit two perfect examples of our production at NGWA 2018: the multipurpose drilling rigs model MI2 and MI5 both on crawler, equipped for water and geothermal wells and for soil investigations.

This year Massenza launches two new machines: the lightweight MI2 and the micropiling MM8. The MI2 has been designed as a small but powerful rig that is light enough to be towed behind a light 4x4 vehicle: with SPT, hydraulic hammer, coring pump and casing extractor it will only weigh 2,600kgs, making the rig a class leader. The MM8 is a powerful rig with a highly articulated mast allowing it to be used for micropiling and anchoring. The rig can also be used for geotechnical, coring and water well drilling. It can be supplied with a wide range of options, including single and double rotary heads, wireline winches, mast extension and a range of pumps. Both are fully radio remote controlled and fitted with the latest Tier4 Final engines. The MI2 is driven by a 55hp Hatz diesel engine whilst the MM8 is powered by a 155hp Deutz diesel engine.
