Electricity helps us perform a tremendous amount of work on a daily basis. Misused, it can result in devastating injury and even death. You will learn how to master this resource for safe and productive use when working with tools and near utility lines.

Jim Wright is Director of Safety for WDC Exploration & Wells. He holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry and Master's in Industrial Hygiene. Jim started in drilling in 1991 as a safety officer for monitoring on Superfund sites. Jim has designed and implemented safety systems for drilling operations in US, Africa, Australia, Mexico, Canada and South America. Jim is an MSHA certified underground/surface mining instructor; American Red Cross certified child/adult first aid / CPR instructor; OSHA 10/30 hour construction safety trainer; performance, off-road and Smith System driving instructor; and LPS certified instructor. Jim is Chairman of NGWA Professional Development, Safety Subcommittee.
