How to Conserve Water Using Innovative Techniques with Traditional Problem Water Treatments

Tuesday, December 4, 2018: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m.
N101/N102 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
This is an instruction and discussion covering the techniques, technologies and science used in treating common water quality issues that send water to drain.  In this course, the attendees will learn how to apply these proven technologies and reduce waste water discharge.  In addition to covering simple changes to standard practices, the learning includes several regeneration techniques and system innovations that provide the desired treatment results using less water.

The discussion covers chloride discharge to drain, metering effluent and using pressure drop to regulate backwash cycles and recirculating water while removing mineral salts.

The goal of this training is to introduce simple yet sound application techniques into everyday practice and offer “better or best” practices that save water and reduce high solids waste to drain.
